Travel Coordinator/ Administrative Assistant 

This position will arrange travel and logistics for employee travel including but not limited to air travel, hotel, group restaurant reservations and rental cars, while also handling a number of administrative duties and auditing travel charges.  


Duties/Responsibilities:
•    Manage travel and accommodations for Dallara employees traveling to work related events. Manage travel arrangements and accommodations for Dallara Italy employees working or meeting at the Dallara US headquarters.  
•    Researches and compares available travel and hotel accommodations to identify the best available options for each travel need.
•    Proactively makes hotel arrangements based on race schedule for the different series
•    Makes all the travel arrangements and reservations. 
•    Prepares travel itineraries and distributes travel arrangements and schedules, including rooming lists.
•    Communicate as needed with travel coordinator in Italy
•    Arrange for meals at racing events. 
•    Advises travelers of and assists with any need for specialized travel documents such as visas or passports.
•    Monitor expiration dates of VISAs & Passports (renew minimum of 6-months prior)
•    Complete VISA/ immigration paperwork
•    Manages any last-minute travel changes or errors.
•    Process race credentials for employees and guests for each race
•    Process receipts for travel expenses and reconcile travel receipts vs credit card statement. 
•    Review and audit folios for accuracy
•    Survey travelers after each travel event for feedback regarding accommodations, care rentals, flights, etc. 
•    Create quarterly report for tracking of all travel related expenses.
•    Provide guidance on travel related policies and recommend updates as needed.
•    Develop relations and interactions with travel coordinators of race teams.
•    Check voice mail and general email account and respond or route to appropriate individuals, distribute mail.
•    Research and compare lodging for Dallara Italy employees who stay for extended period of time in United States
•    Assist Management team with scheduling meetings, preparation of agendas, and food and beverages if needed
•    Keep meeting notes and distribute as appropriate. 
•    Other related duties as may be assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities 

  • 2+ years of coordinating travel arrangements for multiple team members, preferred.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • High level of professionalism and be to work cross functionally with other departments.
  • Ability to assist employees with travel related emergencies, including weekends.
  • Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to assess multiple options and to identify the best choice to serve a specified goal.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High school diploma required; some higher education preferred.
  • 2+ years of coordinating travel arrangements for multiple members of a team, preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the Motorsports industry

Composite Technician 

Composite technicians are responsible for manufacturing parts using specialized equipment, which involves different techniques to modify carbon, and other composite materials which allow the technician to create parts and structures according to project specifications. These technicians must be proficient with mechanical machinery, and strong interpersonal skills are also important to explain the creation and troubleshooting processes to other Dallara employees. 

Composite technicians must be able to:

  • Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and technical data sheets.
  • Follow standard document procedures, including filling out Travelers and initialing paperwork. 
  • Perform complex composite lay-ups.
  • Laminate parts by proper placement of composite materials into molds following ply schedules, ply books, or laser systems.
  • Prepare parts for bagging, including placement of release film or peel ply, bleeders, thermocouples, and vacuum connections. 
  • Vacuum bag processing, bonding, and oven/autoclave curing.
  • Perform post production processing: Demolding, trimming, grinding, sanding, cutting, drilling, countersinking, and cleaning. 
  • Surface prep, using grit blast, hand abrade, and power abrasion techniques.
  • Assembly of parts including set up, bonding, and fastener applications.
  • Handling, mixing and applying various resin/catalyst materials and other chemicals and solvents.
  • Knowledge of basic safety procedures and utilization of personal protective equipment.  
  • Make basic layouts or reference points on parts or assemblies to check dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and precision scales. 
  • Verify work to ensure a defect free part prior to presenting to quality control. 
  • Work efficiently and effectively with extreme attention to detail and continual pursuit of excellence.
  • General understanding of ISO9001 and AS9100 quality management systems and adhere to ISO9001 and AS9100 quality standards.

Quality Control Technician 

To ensure the quality of components and materials by performing detailed inspections, using specific equipment and procedures as instructed by the QC lead.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Provide detailed in-process and final inspections on components and materials,
  • Use detailed drawings, CAD models, and established processes to verify conformance to manufacturing and design requirements.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed for the receiving, production, and storage of all items and materials.
  • Report all non-conformance (NC) by means of defined company procedures, to the production planning office, the purchasing department, and engineering
  • Implement authorization for use of NC items under approved exception.
  • Maintain calibration of quality control equipment or Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
  • Perform inspections across all stages of production

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.  Engineering or Technical degree, a plus.
